IN THE MATTER BETWEEN RISING STARS FC VS. KWARA UTD FEEDERS TEAM FC IN THE MATCH PLAYED BETWEEN RISING STARS FC VS. KWARA UTD FEEDERS TEAM FC

 

The Committee decides as follows:

 

FINDINGS:

 

1.     The Committee found out that there was no Pre- Match meeting for the Match played between Rising Stars FC Vs. Kwara Utd Feeders Team FC as stipulated in Art. 4.0(6) of NNWL Rules 2015 as Amended.

2.     That from the Referee and Match Commissioner’s Reports as well as the evidence received, the match was played for a total duration of 80 minutes (40 minutes for each half) and 10 minutes interval as against the stipulated duration of 90 minutes full regulation time and half time interval of 15 minutes, contrary to Art. 4.11(1) of the NNWL Rules.

DECISIONS:

1.     That the match was not played in accordance with the Rules of the game, therefore the Committee pursuant to Art. 7.02(1) (d) of the NNWL Rules 2015 (as Amended) hereby cancels the Match played on 8th September, 2018 at Aper Aku Stadium Makurdi, Benue State.

2.     The Committee hereby orders a replay of the Match on a date, time and venue to be decided by the Nigeria Nation-Wide League Secretariat.

3.     The protest by Rising Stars FC is hereby dismissed.

4.     The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudice to the right of appeal.

IN THE MATTER BETWEEN SUNSHINE QUEENS FC VS RIVERS ANGELS FC IN THEMATCH PLAYED BETWEEN SUNSHINE QUEENS FC VS RIVERS ANGELS FC

FINDINGS:

1.     The Committee found out that the case of double registration against player Yetunde Adeboyejo of Rivers Angels FC was not established by Sunshine Queens FC.

2.     That there was a provisional clearance dated 15th May, 2018 issued by the Nigeria Football Federation clearing the said player to be registered by Rivers Angels FC.

3.     That Sunshine Queens FC abandoned their protest on player Alice Ogebe O.

DECISIONS:

1.     That player Yetunde Adeboyejo was duly registered and licensed for the 2017/2018 AITEO Cup Competition in favour of Rivers Angels FC.

2.     That the protest by Sunshine Queens FC on the eligibility of Yetunde Adeboyejo and Alice Ogebe O. fails and is hereby dismissed.

3.     The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudice to the right of appeal.
