Official biography of Sir Odumegwu Ojukwu for launch in Lagos

The only official biography of Sir Odumegwu Ojukwu just completed by his nephew, Ifeanyi Obi, is billed launch on September 10 in Lagos. One of the organisers of the book launch, Dr Samue Obi, describes the book as “a good addition to your libraries for those who did not know about the famous millionaire from Nnewi who was perhaps the first millionaire in Nigeria of the 1950s and 1960s. His youngest sibling, who was married into our Obi royal family, was the one that raised me up. Her name can be seen in just about all the acknowledgements of my books.

Obi  further describes the book as “very informative” addition “to our ever rich resource collections of Igbos as a unique ethnic group in this world.”
