Auguster Douglas Ayam, Sister to Oronto Douglas was kidnapped Monday Night at Ogbia by unknown gunmen.
The victim who runs a shop at her residence in Ogbia community in Bayelsa was picked up at home by her abductors.
Ogbia local government is home to President Jonathan.
The kidnappers reportedly shot into the air to scare people as they took her away to an unknown destination in the creeks.
Sources at the Military Joint Task Force headquarters in Yenagoa confirmed that the incident has been reported while a manhunt for the kidnappers has been launched to free the captive.
