Mama Obodo Mrs. Paulina Omadaja Eze (Née Agashi) 1931 – 2013
The family of ranking member of Nigeria’s upper legislative chamber, Senator Ayogu Eze has announced a programme of events culminating in the burial of the family’s matriarch, Mama Obodo Mrs. Paulina Omadaja Eze (Née Agashi) who died on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the age of 82.
A release made available to www.Africanewscircle.com and signed by Senator Eze, showed that the burial of the matriarch will hold Friday November 29, 2013 after a 10AM requiem mass at the ancestral home of the Ezes, Umuida, Enugu Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State.
Traditional condolence visits by inlaws, friends and well-wishers will take place the day after the internment on Saturday November 30, 2013 just as the family thanks-giving service will follow on Sunday December 1, 2013 at 10AM at the ST. Thomas’ Catholic Parish Church, Umuida, Enugu Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State.
The late matriarch is survived by her husband, Pa Eya Nweze ; son, Senator Ayogu Eze; daughter, Mrs Cecilia Ezeja; another son, Barr. Paulinus Eya; several step sons, daughters, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law and many grandchildren.
