The funeral rite in respect of my late father, Chief Clement Okon Effiong, has been announced by the family, Nung Ekpo Umoren of Ikot Eto (Formally Ikot Edito) Ibestikpo in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.The Octogenarian was a retired civil servant in the then Cross River State, Speech Writer to Late Politician, Nationalist and Ibibio/Minority Rights Crusader, Chief E. O. Eyo who was also Obong Ikpaisong Ibibio ye Annang.
He will be buried on December 22, 2017 after a funeral service by the Lutheran Church of Nigeria.
