FIFA U-20 World Cup: Teams Arrive As Fans Gear Up For Poland 2019

From Dianabasi Effiong With 10 teams having already arrived for the first-ever FIFA competition to be held in Poland, fans are also getting a step closer to the action as they should now print the tickets purchased on www.FIFA.com/tickets/U20WC. By simply logging in to their FIFA ticketing account, all fans can print their tickets at home. It is essential that they print their tickets on good-quality white paper (A4 size) and fold them properly before arriving at the stadium.
The barcode and all other elements on the ticket must be fully visible and machine-readable. Electronic tickets on mobile phones or other devices will not be accepted at the gates and there will be no printing facilities at the stadiums.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets via www.FIFA.com/tickets/U20WC until 15 June, the day of the final. Prices start at PLN 10. “The FIFA U-20 World Cup really is a talent factory. There’ll probably be some unfamiliar faces on show for some people, but in two, three or four years’ time, they’ll be conquering stadiums in Europe and around the world. That’s another reason why it’s worth coming and watching – what’s more, the tickets are very affordable,” says Zbigniew Boniek, President of the Polish FA and a football legend. The FIFA U-20 World Cup is FIFA’s second-oldest competition. Previous editions of the tournament have featured such global stars as Maradona, Messi, Iniesta, Griezmann, Salah and Piqué. The opening match will see hosts Poland face Colombia in Lodz on 23 May at 20:30 CET. Media Rights Licensees in 121 territories have secured the broadcasting rights to show the competition. |
