The governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir el-Rufai has bemoaned to the decision of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to cancel the invitation extended to him as a guest speaker in the forthcoming virtual annual general conference of the association.
Governor el-Rufai who lamented the cancellation of the invitation by the NBA, viewed the change as denying him a fair-hearing on the issues scheduled for discussion.
He added that he accepted the invitation with a view to participating in a panel discussion on national identity as part of his commitment to the evolution of a national consensus and not for other reasons.
