Hard to believe but true in the Nigeria of the 21st century under different tiers of government whose duty it is to provide and maintain amenities including good roads. But a Catholic priest of the Port Harcourt Diocese has taken the task of working on a bad road in the community in which he ministers to the people.
His name is Rev. Fr. Peterdeebom, serving in Omuma Parish.
That road is the road that linked Omuma town where he is serving as a priest to Okehi town and he uses this road on daily basis. However, the road was long neglected by the government hence, the people living in that area have been finding it very impassable and traumatic.
