BRUSSELS, Kingdom of Belgium, April 3, 2015/African Press Organization (APO)/ — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders is deeply shocked by the terrible toll of the terrorist attack in Garissa in eastern Kenya. In this barbaric and cowardly act, 147 people were killed and many more injured, mostly innocent students.

Minister Reynders presents his condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Kenya. Together with the European Union, Belgium stands with Kenya and the countries of the region in the fight against terrorism, against extremism and for a stabilization of Somalia.
