As far as I am concerned things have really come to a head concerning the issue of Boko Haram and the situation in Northern Nigeria. Too many innocents have been killed on the altar of religious fanaticism, with an inept northern leadership sitting in the wings waiting to see what will fall into their laps. Well, I have news for them. The only thing that will fall into their laps will be a hissing cobra wearing a turban, and biting with venom that is religiously militant, and fanatically driven. They fed this serpent by their decades of nepotism, corruption, lack of development and visionless rule. This issue started before independence with the idea that they were born to rule, and could manipulate the entire country. I shall not go into the system that they have tried to use to drive this, except to say that the custodians of it have developed their people, but these lazy imposters have been totally unable to even copy that, let alone take into consideration local conditions and customize it. Enough said! What is now clear to me is that there is urgent need for a plebiscite among the northern states so that the people can determine what they want for themselves, for once. The plebiscite should ask and answer one basic question. “Do you want to live in an Islamic Country and as such be independent from the rest of Nigeria?”

Based on the answer we shall then know what the next step shall be. It is not difficult, and so that all is transparent the United Nations should be asked to conduct it.

Nigeria was cobbled together for a reason, and it can be dismantled for the even better reason that it is not working, as currently structured!
